the concept of this fashion collection Animalia Anomalia or “anomalous animal” is based around the human fear of the uncanny human or animal, the fear of a seemingly harmless person or animal that looks just a bit “off” upon closer inspection. In fact many cryptids are based around the idea of the “slightly off” looking person or animal with distorted figures and/or faces which is what makes them so terrifying to us. “Are they truly harmless or will I become prey?”
